They have to keep their operations simple, they want success, and in most cases, they want to escape. The question of 9/11 and other suicide attacks will always be a topic of discussion, however most terrorists, both foreign and domestic are attack oriented and plan for their escape after executing their mission.

The goals of terrorism are usually political, social, or religious in nature. In their own way, terrorist believe that they are working toward a better world. They may want:

• To overthrow any existing government believing it to be non-representative, authoritarian, corrupt, or immoral
