Certificate Program Requirements

This section describes student classifications, tuition and fees, and technological requirements for the on-line Homeland Security Certificate program.

Student Classification

There are four basic student classifications:  undergraduate, graduate, and Lifelong Education undergraduate and graduate.  Undergraduate and Graduate students are those already enrolled in a degree-seeking program at MSU.

Lifelong Education students who possess a high school diploma or its equivalent will be accepted as Lifelong Undergraduate students; those who already possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution will be accepted as Lifelong Graduate students.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition is based on student classification, not the course number.  Please visit the Controller’s Office to determine your approximate course costs.
